We are specialized in moulds for thermoforming, simultaneous forming and trimming, second station cutting processes for the production of polystyrene (PS), polypropylene (PP), ABS, PVC, HIPS, CPET, PET containers.

Our moulds consist of special steels, tempered and internally grinded. We do also make die trimmers for application on automatic filling machines or for food machinery use which we firstly thermoform and then trim in a second station. Our firm also deals in complete moulds projects starting from a basic design concept for different kinds of thermoforming machines. The mould prices vary according to the number of cavities and the type of machine on which the mould is to be set.

Production Technical Departiment

The planning of the moulds begins once agreed with the customer the final shape of the item to be produced. This basic stage is supported by years of experience, tests and technologically advanced tools.
Every working station is in fact endowed with a three - dimensional C.A.D. system and it is the core of the study of every new product too.
The planning of every single mould part/element always guaranties to the customer the reproducibility of spare parts after several years. The basic materials, supplied by national and international leader companies, are selected thanks to a long acquired experience and to a continuous research.

The Thermoforming Process

Termostampi Srl is specialized in the construction of thermoforming tools. Since 1976 in the field of tools manufacturing for food containers and cups made from PolyPropylene (PP), PolyStyrene (PS), PVC and PET.

The thermoforming process exploits the plastic material deformation brought at adequate temperature. The process has many variations. The most common of which consists in giving shape to the piece to be produced with a mould (or shape) in which the material is pre-formed thanks to a plug and then brought to the exact final shape through compress air (or through depression or void).
